Every stream earns a small royalty. Standard-tier tracks (feat. you) earn 30% of net royalties; Own Artist tier tracks earn 70%. Payouts are calculated from what platforms actually pay per stream — this varies by platform and listener location, and typically arrives a few months after a stream happens, since platforms report on a delay.
Note: Spotify requires a track to reach 1,000 streams within any rolling 12-month period to earn royalties at all — tracks below that threshold earn nothing there, though other platforms have no such minimum.
